Global Food Systems

Connecting agri-food change leaders & investors around the world
In a year in which the world is refocussing its attention on cutting carbon emissions, the 7th annual FT Global Food Systems digital summit will showcase the work of pioneering farmers, agri-food companies, investors, and other key stakeholders around the world whose bold and scalable approaches are reducing the negative impacts of food production on the environment and society. We will ask what food systems leaders and investors are doing differently to produce growth that is in harmony with the needs of the environment and society without sacrificing profit.
Our agenda this year will look at the most exciting new growth areas for farming, food, and agri-tech, including biologicals, regenerative agriculture, AI, and alt protein, a sector experiencing record levels of investment. You will hear how food innovation can reduce future pandemic and climate change risks and be invited to join close-up conversations on endangered food, soil health, Scope 3 emissions, carbon farming, carbon trading, blockchain & crypto, inclusion & diversity, and more. Food and agriculture technologists will live demo the cutting-edge green solutions helping to transition our food systems. Experts will discuss the knock-on effects of CO2 shortages on food supplies. Young advocates, passionate about transforming the way we produce, consume, and dispose of food, will bring their fresh perspectives to the discussion.
This is the only event to bring together upstream and downstream stakeholders and their strategic partners for purpose-driven conversations on the most topical subjects to help build consensus on the best way forward.

"FT Global Food Systems was one of the best I’ve experienced at cultivating diversity in speakers across many dimensions - gender, race, age, stakeholders, geography and perspectives. Even to the point of some uncomfortable conversations. But those are exactly the conversations that need to be happening."
